Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of acute care experience and Epic EMR proficiency for a day shift position in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Physical therapy unit focused on acute care patients
• Requires experience with Epic EMR
• Modules are completed onsite during orientation and are recorded via transcripts
• Former permanent staff must have at least a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of requested time off will be automatically approved; no time off allowed during the first week of orientation
• Travel pairs or groups are not accepted for this assignment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Physical Therapist experience in acute care
• Previous travel assignment experience required
• Active Texas PT license required, pending license accepted if applicable
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Will not consider candidates residing within a 50-mile radius or in the specified local counties
