Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of recent experience for a day shift physical therapy position in an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital-based physical therapy department
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 13-week assignment
• Up to 5 days of requested time off is permitted but must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates within 50 miles may be subject to different contract rules
• Subcontractor staff living within 50 miles are restricted to three consecutive 13-week contracts, with a one-year break required before returning
• Blocked scheduling may be available based on facility needs and must be approved in advance

Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapy license required if applicable
• At least 1 year of recent experience in the specialty required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• No expiring certifications within the first 30 days of assignment unless renewal is scheduled and documented
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted
