There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

Scope of work 

Provides biopsychosocial intake evaluations, individual therapy, crisis intervention, and clinical case management services to survivors of violence, using evidence-based practices. Carries a caseload that consists of complex patients, all of whom have histories of trauma, including physical and sexual assault/abuse, domestic violence, gunshot wounds, etc. occurring within the past three years.

Qualifications

• Required Master's Degree Social Work, or a counseling related field

• 2 years of relevant experience clinical psychotherapy experience using evidence-based treatment modalities Required

• LIC-Professional Counselor (LPC) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required or LIC-Master Social Worker (MSW-Master) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
