The AIC Technician is under the direct supervision of a Nurse Manager. AIC Technicians reconstitute medications in the AIC to be administered by the Registered Nurse or CMA.

Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM.

Service areas: West Columbia, Aiken, Evans, GA.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Work experience in reconstituting medications.
• Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner.
• Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.

Essential Functions:

• Completes and demonstrates work related competencies based on business line and work duties.
• Reconstitutes medications per orders.
• Assists with clinic inventory.
• Follows all regulation standards maintains logs for cleaning, maintenance, and monitoring.
• Monitors and retrieves expired medications from stock.
• Abides by all Palmetto Infusion Policies and Procedures.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include reading, distance, computer, and color vision. Talking and hearing are essential to communicate with patients, vendors, and staff.
