We are seeking a Test Lead to support EDGE Modernization and OPS initiatives within the GDC Partnership program. This role requires expertise in lab maintenance, server and endpoint management, QSR applications, and Google Cloud operations. You will be responsible for ensuring system reliability, executing smoke/sanity testing, managing environments, and supporting both manual and automated testing activities.

Overview

Responsibilities

• Manage lab environments, ensuring overall health of servers and endpoints.
• Perform QSRSoft daily activities, including password resets and store open/close operations.
• Administer BOS applications (MCT Tool, Manager Config Tool, etc.).
• Execute upgrades/downgrades of NPOS systems.
• Validate basic Sesame functions for application readiness.
• Provision and maintain server applications.
• Support the automation team in resolving lab-related issues.
• Perform platform, application, and environment smoke/sanity testing.
• Conduct backup and restore testing to validate recovery processes.
• Manage and re-provision virtual machines (VMs) in GCP.
• Validate lab health and conduct basic triage using Google Cloud Console.
• Create and manage support tickets for operational and testing issues.

Technical Profile

• Hands-on experience with lab maintenance and system administration.
• Strong knowledge of QSRSoft operations (daily tasks, store open/close, password resets).
• Proficiency in BOS applications (MCT Tool, Manager Config Tool).
• Expertise in server provisioning, upgrades, downgrades, and endpoint management.
• Working knowledge of GCP for VM management, lab health validation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with smoke/sanity testing, backup/restore validation, and application health checks.
