Job Description:

L3Harris is searching for talented Engineering Test Technicians to join the L3Harris team testing fiber optic switch modules and chassis. The candidate will be responsible for executing CCA functional, thermal/vibration ESS tests and final acceptance tests on hardware. This position is a 3/12PM shift (Friday to Sunday NIGHT) support.

Essential Functions:

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings or schematics to perform work duties

• Work under direct supervision using a prescribed set of processes and procedures

• Work directly with engineers optimizing test processes and procedures

• Lean, continuous improvement mindset

Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Ability to read and understand spreadsheets

• Possess a positive attitude and the ability to work in a team environment with strong attention to detail

• The ability to lift 32 pounds regularly

• Good computer skills (Microsoft Windows and Office)

• Professional attitude and excellent verbal/written communication skills

• Ability to obtain a security clearance

• Ability to work occasional weekend, off-shift, and overtime work.
