Test Engineer Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Firmware Test Manager to lead our testing organization through a significant transformation. The role involves shifting from basic hardware/firmware testing to comprehensive integrated systems quality assurance. You will establish mature testing processes, implement industry best practices, and build a scalable system test framework. This framework will cover hardware, software, firmware, and end-to-end integrated systems testing. As a leader, you will manage a team of five QA testers.

Essential Skills

  8+ years of experience in software, firmware, and hardware testing.

• n

  2+ years of experience in leading or managing teams.

  n

• n

  Proficiency in Python and test automation frameworks.

  n

• n

  Expertise in system testing, including wireless, Bluetooth, and IoT.

• n

  Experience with both manual and automated testing methods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  Hands-on experience with scripting languages, including Python.

  n

• n

  Proficiency with Jira for project management, defect tracking, and workflow automation.

• n

  Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.

• n

  Knowledge of various testing tools, including functional, performance, security, and hardware validation.
