Telecommunications Superintendent

Trillium Construction is hiring for a Telecommunications Superintendent in Portland, TN to oversee the installation of new fiber optic infrastructure lines.

The ideal candidate will manage subcontractors, ensure safety compliance, maintain quality control, track project schedules, budgets, and documentation effectively.

Duties:

• Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and labor teams.
• Enforce safety protocols, including OSHA standards, and maintain a safe working environment.
• Review blueprints, plans, and specifications to guide construction activities.
• Schedule and coordinate materials deliveries, inspections, and workforce assignments.
• Utilize Pegasus software for project scheduling, budget tracking, reporting, and documentation management.
• Monitor project progress using Pegasus tools and provide regular updates to project managers and clients.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and resolve any on-site issues.
• Maintain daily logs, safety reports, and documentation, leveraging Pegasus for record keeping.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders, including engineers, architects, and suppliers.

Compensation:

• Annual salary between $100,000 - $120,000

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a construction superintendent or similar role
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in utility locating, construction, or field surveying preferred.
• Familiarity with GPS technology, GIS systems, and mapping software.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to read and interpret utility maps and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with all relevant regulations.
