Technology Operations Manager

Market Technology Team Position

This position is located in Jacksonville, Florida and offers a hybrid work schedule from Monday to Friday, with an 8-hour shift. The salary range is between $110,240 and $153,668 per year.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating and driving business relationships with key internal and external partners.
• Serving on ministry governance councils as a technology partner and advisor.
• Acting as a consultative partner for ministry leaders on all technology topics.
• Aligning technology with Ascension's goals in partnership with ministry market leadership and IT stakeholders.
• Understanding and explaining business and technical issues, responding to user problems, and presenting deliverables.
• Promoting new solutions and methods to improve business processes, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Developing technology roadmaps in collaboration with operational business partners and Ascension Technologies.
• Providing executive reporting for account portfolios and supporting IT vetting and prioritization processes.
• Brokering prioritization and delivery commitments based on capacity and business value.
• Managing the intake process from identification of business issues to project initiation or rejection.
• Initiating and leading teams through change by communicating a compelling case for change.
• Overseeing activities for assigned ministry and ensuring delivery to a high standard and customer satisfaction.
• Ensuring user/management involvement at appropriate milestones.
• Facilitating resolution to usability/performance issues and collaborating with care teams and business leaders during critical events.
• Providing support across Ascension Technologies during a crisis.
• Contributing to project plans, RFPs, and RFIs.
• Helping formulate project scope and objectives.
• Advising and guiding business partners and impacted associates for processes related to technical assessments, contracting, sourcing, and technology delivery.
• Representing business partners at CAB meetings.

• Making sound decisions and taking initiative for the accuracy of information in detailed proposals.
• Proactively resolving complex, non-routine problems and issues.
• Understanding business needs and proposing technology solutions for process improvement.
• Working across multiple functional areas with an ability to understand operational and executive level needs.
• Demonstrating high ethical standards and fostering trust.
• Knowledge of software tools to create, edit, and analyze complex projects and presentations.
• Understanding Agile project delivery, application development, and healthcare applications.

Requirements

Education requirements include a high school diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, or an associate's degree/bachelor's degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.

Additional Preferences

Preferences include healthcare technology experience.
