Mechanical Technician V

BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Mechanical Technician V to join their fast-paced Engineering and Test team in Nashua, New Hampshire. You will be supporting a wide variety of tasks in the day-to-day operation within an Engineering Lab. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: performing a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment: conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks: makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.

Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• 5+ years experience with HS Diploma
• 1+ year with AA
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
• Familiarity with technology and labs

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Familiarity with commercial test equipment

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $74508 - $119213. Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
