The Opportunity:

As a technical project manager, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it's imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That's why we need you, an experienced technical project manager who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.

As a technical project manager on our team, you will work directly with clients and an integrated, multi-functional team to develop new energetic systems or refine existing systems to counter unique mission sets. You will focus on the full life cycle of projects from initial concept design through testing and eventual deployment. You will be responsible for the proactive identification of project risks, assessing quantitative data, developing presentations and dashboards to communicate project status to sponsors, supporting the management of project budgets, developing and tracking detailed schedules, monitoring and managing scope change, assessing risk and facilitating mitigation plans, and managing stakeholder communications. The work is challenging, dynamic, relevant, and important to the security of the United States.

You Have:

• 8+ years of experience with technical and weapon or energetic system projects, including successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
• 5+ years of experience in a managerial position
• Experience taking ownership of projects
• Experience with writing and editing
• Experience with project management and development, including effective planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks, leading to successful product development
• Experience supporting the development of energetic or explosive systems, work, resources, quality plans, schedules, and budgets
• Ability to determine client business and technical requirements
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Nice If You Have:

• Experience coordinating with test ranges and test planning
• Experience writing and interpreting statements of work and subcontracts
• Experience in MS Project, Tableau, or Power BI
• Experience with risk management
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
