Technical Project Manager

The Technical Project Manager (TPM) will lead and coordinate end-of-life cycle projects within our client's medical device operations. This role involves oversight of testing protocols, regulatory qualification processes, budget management, and timeline adherence to ensure successful project delivery. The TPM will collaborate daily with cross-functional teams, including Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, to drive project execution and resolve blockers. A strong understanding of medical device regulations, industry codes, and compliance protocols is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.
• Oversee testing and qualification activities required for medical device compliance.
• Monitor and manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
• Provide regular updates and reporting to engineering teams and leadership.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication.
• Demonstrate success in project execution, budget oversight, and financial reporting.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience managing technical projects in the medical device industry.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering.
• Proficiency in tracking projects and creating Gantt charts.
• Strong understanding of medical device regulations and lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, including Gantt chart creation and executive-level reporting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred).

Work Environment

The role is 100% onsite in Scottsdale, with a casual work attire policy (polo and slacks). The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with minimal overtime. Employees accrue 5 days of PTO and 6 holidays in a calendar year. We offer Blue Cross Blue Shield health benefits.

This is a Contract position based out of Scottsdale, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
