As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The Devices and Services Product Area (DSPA) Safety Certification team is part of the DSPA Hardware Compliance team, in Product Integrity Engineering. The team supports all hardware products across Devices and Platforms, ensuring that they meet safety standards. The team engages with program teams early in the development process to identify potential risks and guide the design to compliance, seeing it through to the end of development. As the Safety Compliance Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that Google Consumer Hardware products meet all applicable hardware safety standards requirements, follow industry best practices, and are ready to succeed in the market. You will work with Product Counsels, Product Design Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Manufacturing Partners, Supply Chain and Operations to ensure Google Consumer Hardware products are in full compliance. In addition to supporting product development, you will also be able to help shape Google's best practices and processes certifying new products.

The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first-party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
