Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, designed to serve a wide range of users from households to organizations in areas lacking reliable connectivity.

We are seeking a Learning and Development Leader to drive talent development initiatives within our Production Operations teams. This role is pivotal in shaping workforce capabilities aligned with Kuiper's mission to provide broadband connectivity globally.

The Technical Architect II will develop innovative learning ecosystems, collaborate with frontline leaders on technical training plans, and establish career development frameworks supporting our growth and technological evolution.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Learning and Development, this role influences talent strategy and organizational capabilities, translating business objectives into impactful learning initiatives that enhance performance, innovation, and engagement.

Your efforts will directly impact Kuiper's ability to innovate, scale, and fulfill its mission of global connectivity, especially in the context of AI, robotics, and advanced manufacturing.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Develop and implement Learning and Development initiatives aligned with Kuiper's goals and technological roadmap.
2. Create comprehensive training programs and learning solutions for employee growth.
3. Build scalable learning ecosystems to support rapid workforce expansion and evolving skills.
4. Design a career development framework for all levels, from technicians to leaders.
5. Establish partnerships with industry experts to foster innovation and talent pipelines.
6. Define KPIs and measure ROI of learning initiatives to demonstrate business impact.
7. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on learning priorities, risks, and successes.
8. Promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation, developing best practices.
9. Collaborate on blended learning programs covering culture, compliance, and role-specific training.

Basic qualifications include:

• 5+ years in program or project management
• 5+ years in cross-functional training development and delivery
• Experience with advanced Learning Management Systems
• Ability to train employees at all levels
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Proven success in scaling learning strategies in high-growth tech organizations
• Data analytics skills to measure learning impact

Preferred qualifications include:

• Quantitative degree or relevant experience
• Strong analytical, communication, and narrative skills
• Operations management experience and familiarity with business intelligence
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience in corporate learning and process automation
• Ability to solve ambiguous problems and prioritize effectively
