Position Summary: The Team Lead, Field Canvassing is vital to our mission, responsible for hiring, training, and developing a team of Field Canvassers to boost Leaf Home’s brand presence in targeted neighborhoods.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute canvassing marketing initiatives to generate leads for follow-up by sales representatives.
• Create and manage route schedules for a team of Field Canvassers in designated territories, including evenings and weekends.
• Oversee multiple team territories to drive customer lead generation.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop Field Canvassers, establishing accountability through clear marketing goals and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with local ordinances and regulations regarding permit requirements in assigned areas.
• Collaborate with the Field Canvassing Manager and local Operations and Installation Managers to strengthen brand presence.
• Track and report on canvassing lead generation metrics to assess performance and ROI.
• Strive to exceed sales lead quotas based on established KPIs.
• Undertake additional duties as required by your supervisor.

Experience and Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of management experience in field canvassing within a direct-to-consumer context.
• Background in customer service and/or sales.
• Familiarity with lead generation, experiential marketing, or field canvassing.
• Experience in recruiting, onboarding, and training marketing or canvassing staff.
• Knowledge of effective canvassing and direct-to-consumer marketing strategies.
• Willingness to work outside in various weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize based on stakeholder demands.
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving goals.
• Detail-oriented with an emphasis on efficiency and effectiveness.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with diverse stakeholders.
• Critical thinking ability to evaluate arguments, identify inconsistencies, and solve complex problems.
• Empathetic and timely communication across all channels, prioritizing peer and customer needs.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship for a visa.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

• Prior experience with door-to-door canvassing.
• Knowledge or experience in home improvement.

Travel Requirements:

• Local travel is a requirement.

Overtime/Additional Hours Requirements:

• Additional hours may be required.

Physical Requirements:

• Work in varied environments including field offices and outdoor settings.
• Ability to perform duties in different temperatures and climates.
• May require occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds in lifting or moving objects.
