Team Lead, Advanced Practice Providers - Gastroenterology (Internal Candidates Only)

IU Health Medical Group-South Region is hiring! We are looking for an  Advanced Practice Provider Team Lead  to lead our Gastroenterology  department.

Position Details and Qualifications:

• 10% administrative time (protected time)- appox. 4-6 hours/week
• Must be board certified
• Must have 2 years' experience as an APP

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for APPs in your specialty or location.
• Coordinate daily operations to ensure appropriate coverage and patient care.
• Review and monitor quality, productivity, and documentation compliance reports.
• Communicate important updates from leadership to the APP team.
• Identify operational or clinical concerns and escalate as appropriate.
• Assist in onboarding, orientation, and mentorship of new APPs.
• Lead regular team huddles, meetings, and check-ins to maintain alignment.
• Support recruitment efforts by participating in interviews and candidate evaluations.
•  Foster a positive, collaborative work environment.

The new  IU Health Bloomington Hospital  and Regional Academic Health Center opened in December 2021.
