Job Title: Tax Senior (Considering Tax Managers)
Job Location: Fox Lake and Libertyville IL
Salary: $85k-$100k Base DOE
Requirements: 2+ yrs preparing tax returns for s corps, c corps, and partnerships

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Senior or Tax Manager to oversee and manage our tax compliance and planning activities. The ideal candidate will ensure that all tax practices are conducted in accordance with regulations and will provide strategic tax advice to help optimize our tax position.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the preparation of federal and state tax returns for corporate entities.
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and laws.
• Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients.
• Review and analyze tax issues for S Corporations and other business structures.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting related to tax matters.
• Stay updated on tax legislation and best practices to provide timely advice.
• Mentor and train junior staff members in tax accounting principles.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience preparing tax returns for s corps, c corps, and partnerships
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred
