Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our law firm specializing in trust and estate planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax law and will be responsible for providing comprehensive tax services to high net worth individuals and families. This role will focus on ensuring compliance with tax regulations while optimizing tax strategies for our clients.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee tax compliance and reporting for trust and estate clients.
Develop tax strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize benefits for high net worth individuals.
Collaborate with attorneys and clients to ensure effective estate planning and trust administration.
Review and prepare income tax returns for various entities including individuals, trusts, and estates.
Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations affecting estate and trust planning.
Provide guidance and support on complex tax issues and estate planning matters.

Qualifications

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)- Nice to have
Master of Laws (LLM) in Taxation or equivalent
Proven experience in tax planning and compliance for trusts and estates
Strong understanding of income tax law and estate planning strategies
Experience working with high net worth individuals and families
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Certifications in Financial Planning (CFP) are a plus
