Tax Manager

Tax Manager in Milldale

We are seeking a dynamic Tax Manager who will be responsible for signing off on tax returns and working with partnership tax, S Corp, and Consolidated Returns. The ideal candidate should have experience or the ability to quickly learn consulting responsibilities and budgeting. Our firm currently manages 1800 tax returns across two teams.

Responsibilities

• Sign off on tax returns.
• Manage partnership tax, S Corp, and Consolidated Returns.
• Handle consulting responsibilities and budgeting.
• Meet with clients, both large and small, on a monthly basis.

Essential Skills

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is mandatory.
• Proficiency in tax and accounting.
• Experience in tax returns, advising, and budgeting.
• Familiarity with consulting and retirement planning.
• Experience using CCH software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record of managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Work Environment

Our office is located in a beautifully repurposed and redesigned factory building, offering a pleasant work environment with amenities such as a gym, golf simulator, and a chef's kitchen. We promote an anti-burnout culture and offer a hybrid work schedule with flexible hours. During the tax season, our team worked an additional 90-150 hours, which is low compared to traditional environments. We offer a discretionary bonus and a competitive salary for the right candidate.

This is a Permanent position based out of Milldale, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
