Overview

LHH is partnering with a local CPA firm to hire a Tax Manager experienced with reviewing IRS Forms 1040 and 1401 prepared by staff.

Position Title: Tax Manager or Sr Tax Manager

Compensation: $125k to $175k , DOE

Responsibilities

• Review IRS Forms 1040 for individuals and IRS Form 1041 for Estates & Trust as part of staff oversight.
• Mentor staff and review returns; assist with complex tax scenarios.
• Work with the Tax Partner and firm leadership; participate in client service and workflow between owners and staff.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable tax laws and ensure quality and accuracy of tax filings.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in tax
• CPA
• Experience with IRS Form 1040 (individuals) is most important
• Experience with IRS Form 1041 (Estates & Trust) is desirable
• Open to becoming a partner or not; both options are acceptable
• Flexible on start date, but must be by January 12, 2025
• Currently living in the Greater Seattle area or willing to relocate (relocation benefits are not offered)

Hours & Schedule

5 days in office. 4 days in office could work too. Flexible start times.
