Tax Accountant

Aston Carter is looking to hire a Tax Accountant based in Evansville, IN. This position offers competitive pay with a growing company in the area!

Job Description

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
• Conduct tax research and planning to minimize tax liabilities
• Provide technical accounting support on complex accounting issues
• Perform financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Analyze accounts and prepare account reconciliations
• Process payroll and maintain payroll records
• Utilize QuickBooks to manage financial data

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 2+ years of experience in tax accounting or related field
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions, technical accounting, and financial analysis
• Proficiency in QuickBooks software
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $36.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Evansville, IN.
