Tariff Compliance Analyst

Currently, we are assisting a local client in recruiting for Tariff Compliance Analyst in Holland, MI . This is a 3-6 month contract assignment that will allow you to enhance your career while gaining valuable technical and supply chain analysis experience.

As a Tariff Compliance Analyst , you will support the documentation and analysis of tariff-related data for aluminum, steel, and copper derivatives. You'll work closely with engineering drawings, ERP systems, and vendors to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Review SAP data and technical drawings to identify aluminum, steel, and copper derivatives

• Estimate metal values based on part weight and alloy composition

• Communicate with vendors to gather data on raw materials, weights, values, and Country of Origin

• Document and aggregate data in Excel, databases, or SAP

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a related technical field

• 3-5 years of experience in a technical, operations, or supply chain role

• Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems

• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, complex formulas, data analysis)

• Experience with task automation (VBA, Python, or other scripting languages) strongly preferred

• Strong ability to read and interpret part and assembly drawings

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and collaboration skills across global, cross-functional teams

The starting pay rate for Tariff Compliance Analyst jobs is $50/hr , plus overtime as needed. We have flexible scheduling options and can help you choose the best shift to fit your availability!
