Systems Operations Engineer 4 - Contingent

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Storage Engineer.
Position type: Full-time Contract
Duration: 12 Months with possible extension
Location: Woodbridge Township, NJ (Hybrid) (3 days onsite/2 WFH)
Pioneer the Storage Engineer :

• SAN/NAS Storage Engineer with Production support experience.

What You'll Do:

• Architect, manage, and maintain enterprise storage systems including SAN, NAS, and object storage platforms.
• Design and implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and optimization of storage infrastructure.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for storage-related incidents and implement long-term solutions.
• Automate provisioning and operational tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Python) and tools like Ansible.
• Ensure storage security, compliance, and audit readiness (SOX, PCI, HIPAA).
• Collaborate with compute, network, and application teams to support integrated infrastructure solutions.
• Manage backup and recovery strategies using enterprise tools (e.g., NetBackup, Veeam, Commvault).
• Monitor storage health using tools like SolarWinds, Splunk, or vendor-specific dashboards.
• Maintain detailed documentation for storage configurations, procedures, and disaster recovery plans.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in enterprise storage technologies (e.g., NetApp, Dell EMC, Pure Storage).
• Experience with SAN/NAS protocols (FC, iSCSI, NFS, SMB) and storage fabric management.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, Prometheus, or similar.
• Proven leadership in incident management and change control processes.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $65-$70 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
