Join our dynamic team working within the Electro Optical Infrared Systems (EOIS) line of business. We develop, manufacture, and support cutting-edge infrared and electro-optical solutions for soldiers, ground vehicles, and airborne platforms.

Responsibilities

  Analyze, design, develop, and implement new and existing electro-optic and infrared systems/sub-systems, including architectural design and requirements engineering.

  Determine system specifications and support the acquisition of hardware, software, or subcontractor services as needed.

  Drive technology development and ensure completion of activities on time and within budget, leading integration and test activities.

  Design, develop, analyze, document, and support the testing of products, systems, or subsystems.

  Complete technical projects independently and mentor other engineers.

  Review customer specifications and requirements to develop cost-effective designs.

  Lead major problem resolution efforts and support regaining or attaining customer partner status.

  Participate in new business capture teams and provide technical expertise.

  Provide budget, cost, and schedule input for design assignments.

Essential Skills

• n

  8 to 10 years of experience in Electro-Optics and Infrared Systems.

• n

  Strong skills in systems, electro-optics, infrared design, and requirements engineering.

  Proficiency in determining system specifications and acquiring hardware and software.

  n
n
• n

  Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.

  n

VisionLeonardo DRS offers the EyeMed vision plan, which covers a range of vision care services, including regular eye exams, glasses and contact lenses.

Pre-tax Spending AccountsThese accounts allow employees to set aside pre-tax dollars through payroll deductions to pay for eligible expenses - while lowering their taxable incomes. We offer a health care flexible spending account (FSA) and, for enrollees in the High Deductible Health Plan, a health savings account (HSA).* Leonardo DRS makes employer contributions to an HSA on an employee's behalf. A dependent day care FSA is also available.
