System Verification Engineer

Apex Systems is looking to hire an ONSITE System Verification Engineer in Greensboro, NC.

This assignment is anticipated to be a 6 month contract with strong potential for extension; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment. This will also have a first shift MondayFriday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Define and validate test environments for electrical systems.
• Integrate, verify, and validate electrical systems based on component interfaces and expected system behavior.
• Execute testing and verification activities according to defined plans and directives.
• Analyze test results and resolve issues identified during testing.
• Maintain operational responsibility for day-to-day testing activities and team delivery.
• Lead system engineering efforts within a technical team.
• Ensure quality and readiness of systems prior to release.
• Apply experience and analytical skills to interpret test outcomes and draw conclusions.
• Deliver work according to defined methods, inputs, and outputs.
• Contribute to product strategy roadmaps and align work with broader business objectives.

Experience

• 10+ years of relevant experience in system verification engineering.
• Strong background in electrical system integration, testing, and validation.
• Experience working within defined test scopes and system behavior frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage operational responsibilities.
• Skilled in analyzing complex test results and resolving system-level issues.
• Familiarity with structured engineering methods and documentation practices.
• Recognized subject matter expert in system verification engineering.
• Experienced project lead and mentor within engineering teams.
• Strong T-shaped profile with deep discipline expertise and broad generalist capabilities.
• Proven contributor to strategic roadmaps and industry-aligned initiatives.
• Clear communicator with ability to articulate value creation across technical and business domains.
