About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Land Survey Crew Member to join our team. As a Land Survey Crew Member, you will assist in conducting land surveys and provide essential support in the field. You will work under the supervision of a licensed land surveyor and collaborate with other crew members to ensure accurate and efficient surveying operations.
Responsibilities:

Assist in setting up and operating surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and levels.
Help prepare and maintain survey equipment by cleaning, calibrating, and adjusting as necessary.
Perform basic calculations and measurements using surveying tools and techniques.
Collect and record data in the field, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Clear vegetation, debris, and other obstacles that may interfere with surveying activities.
Follow instructions from the survey crew chief or licensed land surveyor.
Maintain safety standards and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Assist in the interpretation of survey data and creation of maps, plans, and reports as needed.
Collaborate with other crew members to efficiently complete surveying projects.
Ensure the proper care and maintenance of surveying equipment and vehicles.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience working as a land survey crew member is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with surveying equipment and techniques is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately collect and record data.
Good physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Valid driver's license is required.
