Survey Technician

The role involves utilizing MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D for various engineering designs, including topographic, boundary, ALTA/NSPS, and easement surveys. You will collaborate with survey crew members in the field and in the office to draft and manage survey data efficiently.

Utilize MicroStation and AutoCAD Civil 3D for engineering design, topographic, boundary, ALTA/NSPS, and easement surveys.

Collaborate closely with survey crew members and office staff to draft survey data.

Work with group managers to meet schedule deadlines.

Manipulate Point Cloud data for the extraction of survey features used in drafting.

Create existing surfaces in CAD to accurately depict field conditions.

Communicate effectively with internal staff to gather necessary information for drafting survey-related data.

Proficiency in MicroStation and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Associate's Degree and 5+ years of experience, or a combination of education and experience.

Experience in surveying, civil engineering, and land development.

Survey field experience is a plus.

The work environment is fast-paced and involves collaboration with various team members. The position requires proficiency in MicroStation and AutoCAD Civil 3D, with a focus on detail and accuracy. A team-oriented attitude and effective communication are crucial for success in this role.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lenexa, Kansas.

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
