We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Survey Crew Chief to lead field survey operations in support of engineering and construction projects. This role is critical to ensuring accurate data collection, maintaining project scope clarity, and supporting high-quality deliverables. You'll work closely with project managers and experienced team members to execute field surveys, resolve on-site challenges, and contribute to the success of design and construction efforts. Candidates with technical or construction backgrounds are encouraged to applytraining will be provided.

Responsibilities

Field Survey Execution

• Conduct land surveys for design and construction projects.
• Coordinate with project managers to align survey scope and timelines.
• Ensure accurate data collection and proper documentation of field conditions.

Project Support

• Interpret technical documents and resolve on-site conflicts.
• Maintain clarity of project scope and support engineering deliverables.

Team Collaboration

• Work alongside experienced surveyors and engineers.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Essential Skills

• Land surveying and field data collection
• Survey equipment operation and documentation
• Technical drawing and schematic interpretation
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred (not seeking new grads)
• Valid driver's license required
• Knowledge of CAD and Microsoft Office is beneficial
• Ability to resolve on-site conflicts and interpret technical documents

Experience Level

• Intermediate level (2+ years preferred)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
