Surgical Technician

Shift: Days

Pay: $27.61 - $41.41 / hour. Pay is based on relevant experience.

Summary: Join our team as a Surgical Technician where you will play a crucial role in facilitating safe and efficient surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the surgical operating suite with necessary drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are in optimal working condition. Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and draping.
• Pass instruments to surgeons during procedures while accurately tracking counts of instruments and supplies.
• Receive and prepare specimens for laboratory delivery.
• Utilize critical thinking skills and decisive judgment in a fast-paced environment while performing duties with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED, or military training.
• State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration.
• Minimum of 6 months Surgical Technologist experience or graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with card valid at the time of hire.
