Organization: MPHS-Mills-Peninsula Medical Center

Position Overview: Assists surgical team in case Picking for operative procedures. Supports the OR Core and assists in Room turnovers. Coordinates, set-up and ensure case carts are ready for same day and following day. Arranges and inventories sterile set-up for surgery. Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the operating room as needed. This is considered an entry-level position and will be responsible as the Core staff. This Staff member Will be working closely with the Sterile Processing Department for any trays/instruments needed for the OR Cases.

Job Accountabilities: Assists surgical team during operative procedures. Arranges and inventories sterile set-up for surgery and passes items as needed to the operating team. Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the operating room.

Education: HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) Other: graduate of approved course for OR Surgical Technicians or equivalent training

Certification & Licensure: BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

Days of the Week: Monday - Friday

Pay Range is $35.55 to $35.55 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location.
