Surgery - Vascular Physician Assistant

Vascular Surgery NP or PA Locums Job OR + Clinic Coverage Starting in November + Ongoing 3-5 8-Hour Weekday Shifts per Week

Jackson and Coker is partnered with a facility on the eastern Florida coast that needs a Vascular Surgery PA or NP to assist with coverage beginning in November 2025 & ongoing. The facility is seeking between 3-5 days per week (Monday-Friday) of coverage in the OR and/or in the Clinic to support their current team + Advanced Practitioner. Candidates must be proficient with Vascular Surgery cases in the OR & able to conduct initial and follow up consults in the clinic setting. Are you available?

Dates of Coverage:
Seeking up to 3 days/week in the OR + clinic support for approximately 2 days/week

PRIVILEGE REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to provide two leadership references and one peer reference from the last 24 months (CMO, Chief of Staff, Medical Staff president, Surgery/ENT Dept. Chair, Cred. committee chair, etc.)
Must be able to provide up to date case logs
Must have a clean background (no red flags or malpractice settlements)

Details/Requirements for Assignment :
Active Florida license + current DEA required
Must be willing to work between 3-5 8 hour shifts per week, in either/or the clinic & OR setting
Must be comfortable with Carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm repair, Varicose vein procedures, etc.
Group consists of 4 Surgeons + 1 APP currently
No night or weekend call coverage required, no rounding required
Facility is a designated level 2 trauma center - has full trauma support staff
Clinic volume will vary but can anticipate a minimum of 8-12 PPD in the clinic and/or 2-3 cases/day in the OR
Facility detail: 490+ bed facility, designated level II trauma center, Athena EMR
