Surgery - General Physician

Make a difference this holiday season in the scenic city of Hot Springs, Arkansas! We re seeking a Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible General Surgeon for Christmas coverage . This is a high-impact, short-term opportunity in a Level II Trauma Center perfect for skilled surgeons who are ready to jump in and support a well-established surgical team.

This role is ideal for providers who want to deliver exceptional patient care while enjoying premium holiday rates , complimentary travel & lodging , and comprehensive malpractice coverage . We are open to candidates needing to obtain an Arkansas license.

December 24th, 7:00 AM January 2nd, 7:00 AM
(24-hour call shifts, 7a 7a daily)

• Standard Call Rate: $1900 per 24hr call (includes 4 gratis hours)

• Call Back Rate: $300/hr

• Holiday Call Rate +Holiday Call Back: Additional

• Comprehensive Malpractice Included

• Inpatient hospital rounding + 24-hour call

• Handle a variety of cases: gallbladders, hernias, colorectal, endocrine, surgical oncology, laparoscopic & minimally invasive procedures

• Must be able to perform both upper and lower endoscopy

• Trauma care with vascular repair experience required (30% of traumas are penetrating)

• EMR: EPIC

• Support from 3 experienced APPs

• Average: calls per night

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in General Surgery

• Active AR license preferred or willingness to apply immediately upon offer

• ACLS and BLS Required

• Clean malpractice history preferred

• Must be fully available for the entire assignment (Dec 24 Jan 2)
