Opportunity: ABLS-Surgery - General

This is a locum tenens opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible General Surgeon. The position requires certifications in ABLS, ACLS, and BLS, with the physician handling approximately 15 patient encounters per shift.

Job Details:

• Provide general surgery services for adult and pediatric patients
• Handle trauma cases as required
• Perform laparoscopic procedures including appendectomies, cholecystectomies, and hernioplasties
• Conduct head/neck surgeries including thyroid procedures
• Perform breast surgeries and chest wall/pleural procedures
• Experience with GI endoscopy (upper and lower) preferred
• Skills in liver surgery, minor orthopedics, and hand surgery valued
• Ability to manage ventilation, insert chest tubes and central lines
• Experience with PA catheter placement beneficial
• For physicians trained in pediatric surgery, experience with various pediatric procedures preferred
• Position start date: August 4, 2025, with ongoing assignment potential
• Credentialing timeframe: 30-45 days
