CT Surgery APP Opening in Dayton, OH Area Seeking candidates with 1+ years post grad surgery/first assist experience Position Details

• Full-time, permanent
• NP/PA
• Highly skilled team dedicated to providing personalized care and support to patients and their families in Southwest Ohio
• Exceptional providers and experienced staff devote quality time to each patient, offering compassion, clear communication, and respect.
• Level I trauma center
• High acuity, level 3 trauma center
• Inpatient & OR coverage available
• Although experience in CT surgery, cardiology, or critical care is preferred, candidates with experience in other areas will also be considered. Both new-grad and experienced providers are welcome to apply.
• If interested, NPs with first-assist experience can be considered for both OR and IP opportunities.
Schedule NPs
• Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm
• Every 6th weekend for rounding
PAs
• Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm
• 1/6 OR beeper call (for 24 hours)
• Every 6th weekend for rounding, 24-hr OR call
Clinical Responsibilities
• Collaborate w/ surgeons and other APPs
• Manage patient caseload
• Rounding; consults
• Bedside procedures: lines; removal of chest tubes, pacing wires, IABPs
• Rotation for coverage of both hospitals
• PAs: first-assisting; conduit-harvesting; beeper call (call isn't in-house)
