PepsiCo Frito-Lay Supply Chain Senior Engineer

PepsiCo Frito-Lay Supply Chain Productivity/Sustainability/Food Safety team is seeking a Supply Chain Senior Engineer (L8) to manage Productivity/Sustainability/Food Safety projects.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include:

• Execute engineering solutions to bring additional capacity to Frito-Lay's portfolio of products.
• Participate in and lead cross-functional teams of colleagues and outside resources.
• Define manufacturing and unit operation needs for project scope requirements and documentation.
• Ability to independently lead small, medium and large projects.
• Apply Engineering principles to problem solving and managing unexpected changes.
• Manage costs by developing project budgets, maintaining cost tracking tools and actively controlling project costs.
• Demonstrate time management skills by developing project timelines, maintaining time management tools and actively controlling project schedules.
• Manage procurement including analyzing quotes, writing procurement documents and tracking project procurement information.
• Develop, manage and execute equipment installation and start-up plans while supervising outside contractors and vendors.
• Manage multiple project deliverables, accelerated timelines and competing priorities. Adequately manage, communicate and mitigate project risks.
• Expected travel: 30% to 40%.

Compensation & Benefits

The expected compensation range for this position is between $76,400 - $127,850. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.

Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.

Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

The qualifications include:

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering
• 4+ years of professional experience
• Technical curiosity with a desire to continuously learn
• Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, aggressive, results-oriented culture
• Ability to lead and drive an agenda to deliver results
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate well to project stakeholders including senior leadership and cross-functional partners
