Superintendent (Milwaukee)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage our commercial construction projects, specifically in the high-end restaurant sector. The Superintendent will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations on construction sites and ensure safety regulations are followed according to OSHA standards.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring that all work is completed to specification and within project timelines.
• Develop, manage, and update project schedules to ensure timely completion of all phases of construction.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
• Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and contractors, to ensure project alignment and address concerns.
• Prepare and submit daily reports on project status, including manpower, materials, and equipment used.
• Manage project budgets and costs, ensuring that expenses align with financial goals and taking corrective action when necessary.
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, with a focus on high-end restaurant projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and legal regulations.
• Strong skills in subcontractor management and coordination.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
• Proficient in scheduling software and project management tools.
• OSHA certification and a strong commitment to safety in the workplace.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
