Superintendent Specializing In Healthcare

We are seeking a highly skilled Superintendent with 45 years of experience in hospital or healthcare construction with a strong working knowledge of HCAI standards. The ideal candidate will oversee field operations, ensure compliance with healthcare construction regulations, and lead teams to deliver high-quality, safe, and timely projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations on healthcare construction sites, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to maintain workflow and quality standards.
• Ensure full compliance with HCAI regulations, including documentation, inspections, and communication with HCAI field staff.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce site safety protocols.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to resolve field issues and maintain project momentum.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and documentation.
• Lead and mentor field personnel to promote a culture of excellence and accountability.

Essential Skills

• 45 years of experience as a Superintendent in hospital or healthcare construction.
• Proven experience working under HCAI/OSHPD standards.
• Strong understanding of healthcare construction processes, infection control protocols (ICRA), and life safety requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• HCAI training or certification is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $165000.00/yr.
