Job Description

We are seeking a Substation Construction Manager to oversee a large substation project in Sherman, TX, supporting a CHIPS project. This role involves managing all construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and coordinating with project employees and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all construction activities for the substation project.

• Ensure subcontractors execute work according to safety, quality, reporting, contract, standards, change management, risk management, and schedule requirements.

• Maintain proper communication with the project team and stakeholders.

• Conduct standardized reporting and appropriate construction meetings.

Essential Skills

• Experience in substation construction.

• Proficiency in construction management.

• Knowledge of civil engineering principles.

• Possession of OSHA Construction 30 certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale construction projects.

• Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Work Environment

The role is part of a significant chips manufacturing project with a leading Engineering and Construction firm in the Power industry. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $48.00/hr.
