What You'll Do

• Design substation layouts, grounding systems, lightning protection, and physical components.
• Create detailed electrical plans and specifications that meet client and project standards.
• Lead drawing development, layout planning, and calculations for complex assignments.
• Review and refine sketches, redlines, and markups for quality assurance.
• Approve design codes and ensure compliance with technical requirements.
• Deliver high-quality design packages on time and within budget.
• Mentor junior designers and support development of diverse and international teams.
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to business development.
• Oversee QA/QC processes and evaluate vendor prints for design compliance.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in drafting/design with 7+ years of experience, or Associate degree with 8+ years.
• 7+ years of AutoCAD experience.
• Advanced skills in 2D & 3D engineering design applications.
• Strong understanding of engineering calculations and design systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $155000.00/yr.
