A Midwest-based heavy civil contractor is hiring a Structural Engineer to support bridge, highway, and infrastructure projects. This is a newly created role driven by growth and new project awards. While most work is transportation-focused, candidates from any structural background are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do:

  Design and analyze steel, concrete, and timber structures for access, demolition, and construction

  n

• n

  Engineer formwork, falsework, earth retention systems, and lift/jacking plans

  n
n
• n

  Draft clear construction drawings for field and fabrication teams

  n
n
• n

  Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and field staff

  n
n
• n

  Provide occasional field support and technical clarification

  n
n

What You Bring:

n
• n

  Bachelor's in Civil or Structural Engineering

  n
n
• n

  AutoCAD proficiency; Civil 3D, RISA 3D, Midas Civil, or AllPile a plus

  n
n
• n

  Familiarity with AISC, ACI 318, NDS; exposure to AASHTO or DOT specs helpful

  n
n
• n

  Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset

  n
n
• n

  Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record

  n
n
