Structural Engineer Opportunity

Selectek is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer for a direct hire role with one of our partnering companies near Orlando, Florida. This firm specializes in commercial and residential projects, so candidates will need a background in those fields.

Employment Type: Direct Hire Location: Orlando, FL Expected Pay Range: $70,000-$95,000 based on experience and certifications

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• EIT license in Florida
• 2-5 years of experience working with wood and masonry structures
• Strong background in wood/masonry structures, framing systems, foundation analysis/design (both shallow/spread and deep), and metal plate-connected wood trusses
• Experience with concrete projects up to three stories
• Eligible to work in the United States

Job Duties:

• Design of commercial and residential projects from concept to final design
• Prepare calculations and details of structural elements
• Draft project plans in AutoCAD as necessary
• Assist with construction support activities such as RFI's, job site reviews and design revisions
• Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors and vendors to ensure projects progress smoothly
