Structural Designer Opportunity
Selectek is seeking a Structural Designer for a contract-to-direct hire role with one of our partnering firms near Tallahassee, Florida. This firm is seeking an experienced candidate with strong knowledge of concrete and steel design work.
Employment Type: Contract-to-Direct Location: Tallahassee, Florida Expected Pay Range: $35-$45 per hour based on experience and certifications.
Job Requirements:
- Experience with TEKLA Structures and AutoCAD
- 5+ years of experience in structural design
- Strong background in concrete and steel design
- Knowledge of AISC and OSHA standards, as well as international building codes
- Ideal candidate is familiar with Revit or E3D
In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.
Job Duties:
- Produce construction documentation for steel building frames, trusses, and pipe/duct support as well as elevated concrete, slabs, and subgrade foundations.
- Create 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, or E3D.
- Coordinate work with internal team of engineers and designers.
- Engage in quality assurance and code compliance.
Schedule: Monday Friday, typically 8:00a 5:00p. One day working from home is available after two-week onboarding/introductory period.
