Selectek has an exciting opportunity for a Structural Designer/Detailer to join a leading Engineering firm in Alpharetta, GA. This role is perfect for someone with an industrial background who thrives in the dynamic world of Oil & Gas.

In this role, you'll be the mastermind behind the structural integrity of industrial facilities, focusing on piping systems and their supporting structures.

Here's what you'll do:

• Craft and refine project drawings for foundations, platforms, beams, and structural steel, ensuring they meet project engineer approval
• Maintain electronic control of all structural drawings, adhering to company standards and timely delivery schedules
• Analyze vendor prints, mechanical equipment, and building foundations to guarantee seamless integration
• Actively participate in peer reviews, upholding the highest quality standards
• Implement best practices and stay up-to-date with industry and client design codes
• Incorporate field changes and redlines to keep drawings current ("As-Built" status)
• Develop and maintain standardized designs for foundations and steel structures
• Proactively collaborate with clients, vendors, and other disciplines to resolve design challenges

To be a great fit, you'll have:

• 3+ years of experience designing industrial structural steel
• Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD Plant 3D or Autodesk Advanced Steel
• Solid understanding of AutoCAD and its drafting capabilities
• In-depth knowledge of steel sections, beams, sizing, weight calculations, and design principles

This 6-month Temporary-to-Direct (TTD) position offers competitive pay between $27.00 - $32.00 per hour.
