Shift: Flex

Pay: $24.11 - $36.17 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Join Our Team as a Sterile Processing Training Specialist! This is an exciting opportunity to impact our team and improve patient care through education and training. We are looking for a passionate individual who is dedicated to the professional development of Sterile Processing Technicians.

Summary:

• Play a key role in developing and delivering services focused on the orientation, ongoing education, and evaluation of Sterile Processing Technicians.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with department leaders and staff to assess the educational needs and competencies of Sterile Processing staff.
• Create, coordinate, and implement training programs for new hires.
• Evaluate and document the progress of new hires during their orientation and provide additional support as needed.
• Design and manage ongoing training and resources for Sterile Processing staff.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, make sound judgments, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while working with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Certification as a CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) or CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing Distribution Technician) through CBSPD within one year.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Sterile Processing or as a Surgical Technologist in an operating room setting.
