• n H.S. Diploma or Equivalent requirednn

• n 1 Year sterile processing experience strongly preferrednn
n
• n CSPDT - Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician within 2 Years Req Ornn
n
• n CBSPD - Certification Board for Sterile Processing & Distribution within 2 Years Req Ornn
n
• n CRCST - Certified Registered Central Service Technician within 2 Years Reqnn
n
• n

What You Will Do

n
• n Performs scanning of instrument trays for location and creation of count sheet/label.nn
n
• n Demonstrates proper assembly technique for instrument trays.nn
n
• n Demonstrates wrapping/containing of instruments/tray.nn
n
• n Performs scanning of instrument trays to track location using the instrument tracking system.nn
n
• n Demonstrates decontamination process according to policy and procedure. Cleaning of instruments manually Using automated cleanersnn
n
• n Ultrasonic washernn
n
• n Instrument washernn
n
• n Cart washernn
n
• n Performs tests and documents as directed to ensure proper operation of washers and Emergency Eyewash and Showernn
n
• n Demonstrates the proper loading technique for sterilization method.nn
n
