Stationary Engineer
As a Stationary Engineer, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining boilers, compressors, chillers, and HVAC systems. You will also assist with the installation and maintenance of vertical and horizontal packaging and production equipment. Utilizing the CMMS system, you will order parts, track work orders, and complete necessary orders. You will make adjustments to equipment to maintain steam quality and maximize efficiency. Additionally, you will report any accidents or hazardous incidents immediately and prepare the plant for maintenance using proper LOTO and SWP procedures.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain boilers, compressors, chillers, and HVAC systems.
- Assist in installing and maintaining vertical and horizontal packaging equipment.
- Utilize the CMMS system for ordering parts and tracking work orders.
- Adjust equipment to maintain required steam quality and efficiency.
- Report accidents or hazardous incidents immediately.
- Prepare the plant for maintenance using LOTO and SWP procedures.
Essential Skills
- 4+ years of stationary engineering experience in manufacturing or large commercial settings.
- City of Chicago - Stationary License.
- Knowledge of boiler systems, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical maintenance, and repair.
- Experience with preventive maintenance, plant engineering, electrical systems, steam testing, and water testing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with utility operations and maintenance technologies.
- Proficiency in CMMS systems.

Work Environment

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are required on the floor, including hair nets, beard nets, face masks, and steel-toed boots. The role offers flexibility and a dynamic work environment with both day and night shifts.

This is a Permanent position based out of Chicago, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr. medical, dental, vision, 401k

This is a fully onsite position in Chicago,IL.
