Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant On-Site | Delray Beach, FL

A growing infrastructure-focused company is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support core accounting operations. This fully on-site role involves journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit preparation across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end close and ensure timely financial reporting
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts
• Analyze financial data for accuracy and completeness
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation variances
• Assist with annual audit and financial statement preparation
• Collaborate with internal teams to support financial processes
• Maintain documentation for accounting procedures
• Contribute to financial analysis and process improvement initiatives
• Review lease and payment data to identify efficiency opportunities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA track preferred
• 23 years of relevant experience, ideally with exposure to lease accounting
• Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory standards
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) a plus
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter with strong organizational and analytical skills

Schedule: MondayFriday, on-site. Overtime required during peak periods (month-end/year-end).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
