SR Technical Project Manager

Insight Global is looking for a talented Sr Technical Project Manager to join one of their top federal clients at Hill Air Force Base on a large defensive weaponry program. This individual will be joining the Information Services team and will be supporting the Mission of Strategic Deterrence through continuous improvements and innovation. Some of your responsibilities would include:
- Collaborate with Government Partners and understand and translate requirements effectively
- Working with a small team of specialists for the project, to ensure proper installation of networks on new build sites
- Oversee network drawings by reviewing and recommending network drawings for installation
- Be able to communicate, collaborate, and present to upper level leadership, stakeholders, and customers
- Helping to curate a list of materials to be redlined and ordered
- Evaluate plans and criteria for technical activities and recommend alternatives as required to comply with customer and company obligations
- Model and demonstrate strong leadership in ethics, safety and security
- Communicate complex technical details to a non-technical audience
- Direct, integrate, manage, and track program and project activities, including segments of major projects
- Review status of projects, manage schedules and prepare status reports

- Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance
- Masters Degree in a technical field
- Experience working within the DoD and collaborating with DoD level customers
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Coming from a Networking, Cyber, and/or Configuration Management background
- Experience reviewing construction blueprints and interfacing with construction contracts and personnel
- Experience utilizing tools such as Jira, Confluence or Visio for Project Management responsibilities
- Certifications:CAPM, ITIL, CompTIA Sec+
- 12+ years of total experience in an IT/technical environment (Master's Degree accounts for 2 years of experience)
- Basic understanding of Networkinginfrastructure
- Switches, hash cables, jacks, routers, face plates, etc.
- 7+ years of experience in Project Management
- Experience communicating, collaborating, and presenting to senior leadership
- Bachelors Degree in a technical field
- PMP Certification
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Ability to sit onsite at Hill AFB daily (located in Clearfield, UT)
- Great communication skills (both written and verbal)
