The Senior Sales Executive – New Clients, also known as New Logo Sr. Sales Executive, must have a proven track record selling complex technology offerings that include managed services, public cloud, mainframe, security, and outsourcing. This role is accountable for creating new bookings from new client acquisition through a consultative engagement process and requires the ability to operate a self-functioning sales unit in partnership with Sales Engineering, Operations, and Marketing.
The candidate should be strategic, a self-starter, and capable of solving business problems with a consultative sales approach. They must be a multi-dimensional thinker who integrates new market developments with past experience, and possess strong presentation skills for written responses to emails, RFPs, and reports. As a member of the Ensono Sales team, they will ensure proper deal lifecycle execution and establish sound relationships with internal stakeholders and channel partners.
What You Will Do:
- Proactively identify new revenue opportunities and relationships to drive account and revenue growth.
- Create and sustain senior relationships.
- Promote and drive client relationships by providing thought leadership and consultation on aligning client business needs to Ensono and partner products and services.
- Drive contract negotiations for new business in partnership with Legal.
- Work closely with Sales Engineering and the customer on solution, value, and pricing scenarios.
- Develop and deliver prospective client proposals.
- Represent Ensono at field events such as conferences and seminars.
- Communicate information effectively to diverse audiences, recognizing business and product terms and value.
- Challenge current thinking and the status quo to drive results and innovation.
- Manage and track the progress of the assigned territory.
What You Will Need:
- Must be located in Minnesota or surrounding states.
- A minimum of 10 years of sales experience.
- A minimum of 3–5 years of selling technology/ managed service solutions.
- Must be organized, analytical, creative, and adaptive.
- A proven track record of achieving and over-achieving goals in past sales roles.
- Experience in managing, reporting, and accurately forecasting sales pipelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Experience in managing and closing complex sales opportunities.
- Proven success in managing client opportunities with multiple lines of business.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct line authority.
- Experience in working with managed services, hosting, mainframe, security, and outsourcing is required.
- Broad relationship development and networking experience, including leveraging channel partner relationships to drive new business development.
- Ability to cultivate and strengthen relationships with senior business and IT staff.
- Ability to technically consult with C-level executives within client environments.
- Demonstrated experience increasing deal close rates using a structured qualification process and identifying customer compelling events.
- Candidates must articulate technology and product positioning from a business perspective and maintain client and vendor relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in IT infrastructure transformation engagements.
- Mastery of legacy IT such as IBM mainframe and mid-range with linkage to modern platforms like public and private cloud.
- Existing relationships and contacts that will drive a robust pipeline.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale is $102,000 to $148,000 annually for full-time work. Placement in the range may vary based on skills, experience, internal equity, and business needs. In addition to base salary, other compensation programs may include a role-based sales incentive plan and an equity grant under the Associate Equity Appreciation Program.
