AWS Wickr ( is a secure messaging and collaboration service designed for organizations requiring high levels of security and compliance. It provides end-to-end encryption for all communications, including messaging, calling, file sharing, and screen sharing, ensuring that only the intended recipients can access the content. AWS Wickr also offers robust administrative controls, data retention features, and various deployment options to meet diverse organizational needs and regulatory requirements.

Key job responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Head of Product to lead the product strategy and execution for AWS Wickr, our secure enterprise communications solution. In this role, you will drive the vision, product requirements, set the go-to-market strategy, and tirelessly champion the needs of our customers. You will lead a team of product managers and work cross-functionally with engineering, design, security, and support teams. You will partner with go-to-market teams and solutions architects to drive product adoption and revenue growth. This role will require coordination across many internal and external teams and will be visible at the highest levels of the company.

A day in the life
Every day will bring new and exciting challenges on the job while you:
• Define high-quality roadmaps based on your strategy and vision
• Drive product decisions through data-driven insights, customer feedback, and market analysis
• Develop detailed, crisp business narratives and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and new features
• Ensure product alignment with security and compliance standards (FedRAMP, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.)
• Work closely with sales teams, solution architects, business development and engineering teams to solve complex product and pricing issues
• Manage prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience, performance and operational support load
• Can dive into technical details and ask engineers insightful questions about the services and dependencies

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of team management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment (edited)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $179,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $309,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
